Aerial Hoop Take Off
Welcome to Take Off
Where confidence becomes consistency.
Congratulations—you’ve built your foundations. Now it’s time to really begin your Aerial Hoop journey.
Take Off is the first stage of our signature 8-week progression pathway. It’s where the basics become second nature, confidence starts to grow, and you’ll begin learning exciting new skills whilst continuing to build the strength and technique that will support you throughout your journey.
Every lesson builds on the previous week, allowing you to progress consistently with the same group of students and the support of coaches who understand your individual journey. You can stay within the Take Off Level for as long as you wish to.
Who is Take Off for?
Take Off is suitable for students who:
✔ Have completed our Foundations pathway
✔ Have equivalent experience and have been recommended by an instructor
✔ Can confidently demonstrate the key Foundations skills
✔ Are ready to begin developing more challenging skills and combinations
If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, we’ll happily guide you to the course that’s right for you.
What You’ll Be Working Towards
Take Off focuses on building confidence, consistency and strength through structured progression.
Throughout the course you’ll continue developing:
- Stronger mounts and mounting endurance
- Seated, hanging and knee-supported positions
- Balance shapes and foundational hoop combinations
- Linking movements together with confidence and control
- Improved flow between skills and transitions around the hoop
- Introductory spinning hoop technique and controlled movement
- Strength, body awareness and aerial control
- Continuing to prepare your body for inverted movements and more dynamic aerial skills
Every course follows a carefully planned syllabus, ensuring your skills continue to build week after week.
Why We Teach Through 8-Week Courses
At High, we believe consistency creates confidence.
Rather than attending isolated weekly classes, you’ll learn as part of the same supportive group throughout the entire course.
That means:
✔ Every week builds on the last
✔ No repeating sessions because different students attend each week
✔ Your place is guaranteed for the full course
✔ Coaches can plan your progression properly
✔ Strong friendships and encouragement develop naturally within your group
✔ Instead of wondering what you’ll learn each week, you’ll follow a clear journey designed to help you progress with confidence.
